Biker Groove is the website of the North Lincolnshire Motorcycle Forum. The forum is an independant body supported by the North Lincolnshire Road Safety Partnership. Members of the forum include Scunthorpe Motorcycle Club, Lincolnshire Advanced Motorcyclists, Humberside Fire & Rescue Service, Humberside Police, North Lincolnshire Council, Lincolnshire Bike Nights and other interested motorcyclists. The aim of the forum is to contribute to reducing the motorcycle casualties on the roads by working with official and voluntary bodies to promote road safety and to try and ensure that the right provision is made for motorcyclists and motorcycles on the roads of North Lincolnshire. The purpose of this website is to open the forum out to as many people as possible. You can contribute by registering with us and being part of consultations on motorcycling issues, by providing information on events, contributing to the advice sections or sharing your top photos of bikes and biking for our gallery. The forum provides advice and suggestions to North Lincolnshire Council and Humberside Police on motorcycle friendly policies and campaigns to reduce casualties on the road. The forum strongly supports the provision of off-road facilities in North Lincolnshire to help youngsters enjoy biking in an environment that is fun but does not carry risks to themselves and others that riding unlicenced and uninsured on the road would. Members of the forum have diverse backgrounds but a common interest in motorcycling and reducing the number of people killed and injured on the roads. We support the Humberside Police BikeSafe program. We support the Think Bike and Shiny Side Up campaigns for 2010.
